We are excited to announce that we are going to have a son, and Avery will have a little brother! He is waiting for us in foster care in Southern China. He was born 7/24/08, and although we would like to go sooner, it looks like we will probably travel in December to get him.
His name is going to be Garnett HengKun (and then our last name). Garnett is Tripp's name, and then HengKun is his Chinese name. We are told he is probably called Kun or Kun-Kun by his foster family, and I believe it's pronounced sort of like "Quinn."
Avery is excited to meet little Garnett, and talks about all of the things that she is going to do with him (listening to music together is at the top of her list!).
